| New member to say hello "Its nice to be back in the saddle" Hi Forum Been out of biking for well over ten years, missed it like hell, my wife understood and I was able to get a bike - Fireblade was over budget but a miracle happened and one fell my way for the money I had. I picked it up and rode her home, the condition was poor and had lacked in TLC but the engine was sound and had been looked after. Whilst riding home, about half way I got a puncture, I was amused as that’s my luck, however to soften the blow within two hours three bikes stopped and offered assistance, one biker in an artic during his working day went down the road, turned round and came back !! Comanardary between bikers was still there and faith in human mankind is restored, I was amazed and impressed to see it was still about. However I got the AA out and I they took me home with my new love, now begins the task of restoring a well loved bike with a bit of spit and polish. |
