fuel problem

hi everyone im brett live in hants had my 95 900rr blade for 3 weeks now and just got my first prob.the fuel pump seamed to stop the other day so striped it ,cleaned it,put it back together and now the pump works but fuel not getting to plugs .have been told the fuel relay is shot[although fuel is still being pumped to carbs] does this sound right.any ideas ,would be really appreciated cheers

I'm no expert on fuelie bikes...but if the pump is coming on then the relay is OK. My guess is that even though the pump is coming on..it's not building enough pressure to work the system properly. It takes pressure and volume to operate and your probably short in one of those two.

thanks,it took hours to remove all fairing , guards ,coils ect.the bike mechanic recons the battery went flat so when i tried to start i flooded it thus making the plugs to weak to start.so new plugs and she starts everytime first time problem solved!!!!!!

Brett, glad you got your bike sorted so quickly (or at least that's how it seems from here). Great to have another Brit on board. Ride safe and keep her sunny side up.
