Hey FireBlade forum! My name is Patrick and I've been a member of the VFRD forum for a little over 2 years now. Been ridin for about the same amount of time. My first bike was a brand-new 2004 Honda VFR800 in Flat Black (Honda called it Asphalt). Awesome all-around bike and definitely a good one to start with. The bike does pretty much everything, but now I find myself wanting a bike that's a little more race-worthy and still good for cruisin.

I've read a lot of good things about the CBR929 and I really was set on gettin a 954 cuz I heard that was the last of the great 900's. However, I got a good deal on the 929. Gotta drive over 400 miles to get it... but a good deal is a good deal and very hard to pass up. Plus this one was babied so much and I really want a bike that hasn't been abused since I wouldn't do that to my own bike.

So basically I'm gettin a six year old bike that's got everything already done to it for about 3 times less than it would cost me to do it all. Sounds good to me! If I really like the 929, my next bike will probably be the 1000rr. The Candy Blue and yellow that Honda put on the 2006's has got to be one of the koolest color combos I've seen on a factory bike.

But all that's for later. As of now, I'm gonna enjoy the 929 in about 4 months when the weather gets nicer haha... and hopefully I can hold out that long! Just gives me more time to mod the Viffer.

Well I went to NY pick this bad boy up over the weekend and I must say I'm likin it a lot! Too bad the weather is ass right now. I put a total of 3 whole miles on it... just enough to get it titled lol. Now its got a whopping 9144 miles. Still mint! Winter hasn't even started yet and I can't wait 'til Spring gets here!!!
