Wiring diagram for a 07 CBR1000

I just got my new CBR1000 and am wanting to add a Acumen gear indicator. I need to identify the following wires in / around the insrtument cluster:
what wire colors are neutral, speedo, tach and power?

Has anyone done this or know where I can get a wiring diagram that would be correct for this bike?

Re: Wiring diagram for a 07 CBR1000

I would call a good aftermarket shop who puts those thing on and aske em...then tell me cuz I was thinking of getting one lol.

Speedo and tach power should be easy, you could pull fuses and steal power from back there and bring it up front (they should be the same wire...im guessing, but Ive wired lots of race cars)
The N is gonna be the hard one to figure out.

Please post if you do figure it out!

Disconnect the big wiring harness plug under the low beam light and you can join in to all the wires there. If you go to the acumen sight you can find your bike and it will tell you what colour is what , its been a while since i did mine

The site automatically adds the Fireblades watermark to every pic that's uploaded.

Re: Wiring diagram for a 07 CBR1000

Thanks for this tip. I found the plug and this wires look easy to get to. I also got the color code of the Aucmen web site. They suggest soldering the wires. Need to borrow a soldering iron and I'll be all set. Thanks for the help.

Another question: How fast does your display "update" the gear change. Acumen says it depends on the bike and the pulses it puts out.
