| new chick just thought i'd say hey and thanks. i've been skimmin' thru a bunch of your posts, trying to learn about the best way to take care of my bike. i have a 98 F3 and it kicks a$$! haven't been riding long, actually, more like a month now, but i've taken well to it and can't wait for the spring time!
i'm in williamsburg, va, and the roads here are awesome to ride on. especially now, since it's a tad chilly, and since old folks seem to be the majority of the population, there isn't much traffic after about 7.
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! |

And believe me, i've done some shopping! A sweet new teknic leather jacket, a joe rocket helmet, who new motorcycle gear looked wicked!
Of course i have to add i am scheduled for an MSF class; they're all closed until around mid jan. i did however take a 'jumpstart' class prior to getting a bike. I believe that sealed it for me. Now i just ride with friends who teach me, around town. |

Just beware the friends as stupid breeds stupid and you can easily follow the lead rider into stupid... Or maybe that is just a sheep thing.... |

| Re: new chick Unfortunately I was in the hospital with a broken right hip. While walking to the post office suddenly I was looking at the sidewalk & with a bruised right hip that continued to be bloodie painful. Black Ice took me down & the salt spread out had not made a dint in it. Do not ask me how, but I managed to get up to walk to my P.O Box to even back to my cage & drive home, only then I relized I was in trouble. Being a bachelor it took me a while to flag down any help that would phone in the Ambulance.
Thing is when in there one of the nurses has a '06 Honda CBR600RR so we spoke the same language.
More & more women are taking to riding & that is good for this comes from an old sod that was into his 61st yr or riding & noticing the difference. Mind you come end of October my three bikes had to be winterized as I live here in the Cdn Rockies in what is called the Okanagan Valley of B.C.
Nice to see you on the board, & yes a good Xmas & New Year to you as well.
