| Gidday fellow blade enthusiast's My name is edwin a New Zealander living in Austalia. Still fairly new to street bikes and wanting to know what to buy/what to look for in my next bike. Currently on a 1989 CBR 250R (M19 I believe). I went to Phillip Is. this year to see the GP....WOW!!!! i was hooked, nice people, great bikes and plenty of speed (not that stuff you put up your arm/nose!!). I saw a lovely CBR 600RR and since im enjoying my little blade i thought it was wise to stick with the Honda, however im still very keen on the GSXR series of bikes....Any pointers? suggestions?
P.S. I cant upgrade until Aug 2008....Im still on a 'restricted' full licence (an oxymoron if ever i heard one, but, hey?!!)

| Re: Gidday fellow blade enthusiast's G'day there,
Welcome to the forum, fellow Melbournian here,
I used to ride a 98 CBR250RR too, good little bikes. The GP was awesome wasn't it, will definate be there this year. Also the WSBK's.
I'll be getting a new bike in July/Aug too. I will am leaning towards the Triumph Daytona 675 or GSXR750, maybe even a 600. I'll have to testride a few and see which one suits me the best. I think you should testride a few when you get off restrictions and see which one suits you the best because they all have different strengths and weaknesses, also comfort can play a part in it too.
Cya round! |

| Re: Gidday fellow blade enthusiast's welcome. i had gixxer 600 before now i have fireblade. both are good bikes. but i enjoy in fireblade more... it's individual. it would be good if you could try riding gixxer and cbr and then decide. |
