Re: Just lurking. Welcome to the board. There's always a lot of useful information to be found here. In the few months I've been on here I have found that this place is just full of members who are willing to help out others. So if you have any questions feel free to ask. BTW, how's the Hornet treating you so far?

| Re: Just lurking. Thanks. The Hornet's a blast. Reasonably fast, nice handling, and most people haven't seen another one.

Re: Just lurking. Yeah, you're not lying about that last part. The only places I've seen them are in the dealerships and in magazines. Have yet to actually lay eyes on one on the road. Nice to hear that just because it doesn't sell as well as a CBR600RR doesn't mean low quality.

Re: Just lurking. Hey Z, Im in the Bay area as well, but do you know of any places that rent sportbikes? Or do you know of any one that is willing to rent one out for a day or so without charging both my arms and a kid for one?

Re: Just lurking. Sportbikes? No....I only know of one place that rents bikes and they rent HDs...I wish there was a place that rents sportbikes. Now, on the other hand, you might be able to find a place that rents BMW bikes, and a few of their bikes are pretty sporty, but definitely not anything like a 929 or even a modern 600.
