Hello friends I'm new

Hello friends I will intoduce myself. I'm 50 years young and comming from the Netherlands. I have my driving licence since 1978. My bikes were Suzuki GT 380, 2stoke. Suzuki GS 550, Kawa 650, Honda CBR 600F, Honda CBR 900. Then 8 years no bike. Then there was the motorvirus again and I buy a Honda Pan European. But a sportbike I like much more and this year I became a 2008 CBR 1000RR.I do have him now 3 weeks. It keeps me young
Here some pics from my bike. greatings Frank.

Nice bike.

How much of a difference is it from your 900? I'm assuming it's much better.

btw: I like the short exhaust.

Welcome Frank! This is crazy, but I am more interested in the Suzuki GT380. My best friend had a 1973 model. It was among the finest commuter bikes ever- 2 or 4 stroke. Tell me about it and what ever became of it.

Hi, the CBR1000RR give you much more pleasure to drive than the CBR900. Because the bike is much more powerfull and les weight. The driving is completly different. The windscreen is unfortunately to low, that's a pity.
The exhaust sounds amazing.

Re: Hello friends I'm new

I was started on a Suzuki GT 380. A lot of years ago. It was then a magnificent bike. It has a splended acceleration but you must have the engine on revs. My first holliday to France was on that Suzuki, without any problems. The only thing you had to do was check the oil for the 2stoke.You full the tank with regulary fuel. That 2stoke had a amazing sound you did hear it for a 1/2 mile Greatings,Frank.
