Old School F'er!

Hello to all!!!

Newbie to Fireblades, but not to forums or cycles, for that matter. Coming up on my 25th year of 2 wheelin' it, (ocassionally 1-wheel ). I have a nice little stable, consisting of mostly vintage Honda sport bikes that spawned these modern Honda rockets that most members own.

2-1981 CB900F's, (one has a full blown 1125cc OMT motor, built from the HRC bin in '83), 1983 CB1100F, "Big Blue" with Dyna2000, degreed cams, big bore motor, German exhaust, Ohlins, Metmachex swingarm, and FCR's. 1984 VF1000F Interceptor that is all original and a true museum piece with 10K on the clocks. And then there is that little '04 Gold Wing in the corner, too, (i.e Couch Rocket). She ain't your Pappy's Gold Wing, either! I have dropped over 2 grand in the suspension, (Traxxion), on her and I have no trouble keeping up with modern sport bikes in the twisties.

A few pics below!

Re: Old School F'er!

Love the Interceptor! I've tried so many times to find one of those worth having in 1K trim. You have a nice one there sir!

You're right up there on the list of people in this world I hate. But dont feel bad, George Barber is on the same list for the same reasons.

Nice little collection. to the org

Re: Old School F'er!

Thanks for the welcome, guys!

Although I am too long-legged to fit on a CBR, (except a XX one), I'll be an avided admireer and lurker, but who knows!!

JH, I guess you my be interested in one of my recently departed, (RIP), she was taken from me thanks to a 20yr old kid making the dreaded left hand turn in front of me 2 and a half years ago.

'86 V65 Magna, that was almost as spotless as my 'Ceptor. She was a trophy winner, too. (Sob, sniff)
