Another Brit says hi and loving my 08 blade

Hi Guys and girls,Just to say how much i'm loving my new Black and white Blade. The weather here has been just rubbish over the past couple of weeks so still not run in yet but showing lots of promise.I traded my well blinged Crescent tuned GSXR 1000 K6 in for this and can say that the brakes, the handling and the general feel is much better on the blade. The engine will i'm sure be as good after the full system/pipercross filter and a dyno set up powercommander route has been done(will post power figures when done).I have fitted a R and G tail tidy which was a bit of a pain in the wotsits to fit but now looks like the poodles plums.I intend to take it to Santa Pod after all this has been done to get a few quarter mile runs in and will lend it to a very good friend of mine Francis Williamson(ex british superbike rider)to dial in some suspension settings and generaly give it a d#md good thrashing around Brands Hatch.
Just two little points though, the clutch seems to bite and has little movement to it ie from bite to all the way out is about 1/2 inch and do wish that Honda would fit a gear indicator as espesialy on this bike i'm allways trying to shift into the nonexistent 7th gear.

Well done Honda for providing a Fireblade with attitude again.

hi there. don't worry, that 7th gear issue happens to alll of us. perhaps the manufacturers should just put in a 7th gear. leave out the gear shift indicator. you don't want to tamper with your baby's wiring, especially a new 2008 fireblade.the clutch free play can always be adjusted. i work on 5 to 10mm of freeplay. chow.
