New here (and rather to motorcycles in general).
History/experience has been in auto-x/road race. Have spent a good amount of time at 150+ MPH though always with a roll cage around me (never done it out in the "open" and in truth don't have much interest to...I like being alive

).
Currently doing a full redesign on my open track Camaro (everything is off the body so it can be sent out to be acid dipped) and then will set about to graft over some fun stuff out of the Corvette C5R front suspension.
I weld (MIG and TIG..... can do stainless and aluminum quite well), have a home machine shop (Bridgeport Mill, Jet Lathe, saws, etc.), and can do mild body work (I leave the paint work to people who really CAN do it

).
Finishing up a double major of Electrical and Mechanical Eng. at ASU. The Electrical is emphasis in semi-conductors and the Mechanical is a support, though it also let me play with some course work in internal combustion engines

and in vehicle dynamics (again, mostly automotive).
So that's my back story. Have wanted to get into bikes for a while but always seemed to get side tracked. My dad had Harleys before I was born (back in the 60s and 70s) and has had BMWs for the past few years now. I'm currently looking around to find an 600cc F4 or F4i (thinking the F4i both from friends' input, reading, and history with fuel injection). While it will be MY first bike, I have had my license for over a year now and learned on my dad's BMWs (as well as have friends with bikes). The reason I'm going 600cc is it feels right to me. I'm 5'4" and 105lbs so the "bigger" bikes just feel bulky to me (have a friend with a busa and I just don't like it).
Guess that's where I'll leave it. Anything else?
