Re: oil change

Is the bike sitting straight up and down? If it's on the side stand you won't see oil in the sight glass.

Re: oil change

On my F4i it takes 3.8 quarts (3.5 liters). Make sure you check your manual and see what it calls for. 3.0 liters seems a little low to me.

Re: oil change

get a friend to hold bike up straight then just top it up a small amount at a time untill oil level is in the middle of the two lines,be careful not to overfill it.

Re: oil change

no worries got it sorted spoke to a mechanic mate and he said it only registers on the last half litre so i just need to stick a little more in it , cheeers for all your threads any way

mechanic bloke has cbr 6 as well said he sticks 4.5 in his which is a litre over recomended and its always been rosy , he uses his for trickin though so he does burn the **** out of it constantly , cheers again the paulie
