Hi from sunny South Africa!!!

My girlfriend arranged a test ride of the new CBR1000 08...so we all tagged along, she owns a RVF400 and rides my ZX10R as well as having ridden 2006 R1 and the previous blades 93 and 06.

I also tried it out up and down a local set of twisty bits and what a great bike, bit of a twitchy front end?? the R6 here was more stable, .... plenty of power tho' lifts the front end with ease no clutch needed...great brakes, and sweet clutch, high pegs but otherwise fairly comfortable.

Slow starter crank = dodgy battey????
