| Re: Latest oh! well then all the math comes out right then! wow and I thought they were trying to rip some poor souls off. I bet they spent an extra $5 maybe even $10 on each bike. point is still that often times, even in the past, the euro bikes get a lot of the colors that we drool over here in the states. for instance, the blue and black 954. or the blue and yellow 954. both bikes with awesome color combos that we never saw on this side of the pond. so we all ride around looking exactly the same. |

| Re: Latest And we get colors that they don't. It does go both ways. Some people in Europe want the black engine casings we have and some people here want the titanium/gold colored casings that they have.
$200 is pretty cheap when there are only 498 of them. If you paid someone to paint/powder cost/anodize them and then buy the stripes and install them, you would be looking at around $200. |

| Re: Latest you only help make my point that the people who decide which colors go to which countries have no idea what the people want. why can't all colors go to all countries? what is the point of have euro colors and us colors? I can't think of any auto makers that offer their cars in only 2 colors each year. because they understand that we don't all want to look like stepford bikers. |

| Re: Latest I haven't helped you at all. They rotate colors, it happens every year. If they had 20 models available, dealers would complain. Some dealers in CA can sell one or two hundred bikes a year. So at the most, they probably sell between 50 and 100 of just model. With 20 colors, they would have 5 of each on the high side? What about smallere dealers that might only sell 15 to 20 of one model? They may not have all of the colors and if they did. they would nned a large space to display 20 variants of the same model.
So you would rather have Honda just make standard colors, maybe just four or five and make them the same around the globe?
As car car makers, not all mmodels are sold around the globe. Next, some colors are only on certain vehicles. So, it is the same there too.
Right now your argument holds as much water as a bucket with no bottom. |

| Re: Latest why not? they already make the 4 or 5 colors. why not make them available to everyone? and they don't rotate colors. We never saw blue and black on the 954 and only saw yellow/ blue on the 1000RR |

| Re: Latest See above. Delaers wouldn't carry all of them as it would take too much space. The best they could do, you buy the bike without plastics and then order the color you want. You probably wouldn't have the sign and ride we have today.
Once again, car manufacturers do the same exact thing.
Why should Honda take your opinion? You have a bike that is 3 generations behind. I can think of one car manufacturer that "listened" to the people and made a car that people didn't buy. I can also think of one that listened to current customers and took their opinioned and they gave them what they wanted. There is a differenece between listening to current customers and the public. You would be in the public category.
If someone wants the white bike, they are more than free to buy the plastics and install them. They could even have custom paint done. |

| Re: Latest they should listen to me BECAUSE i have a bike that is TWO generations behind, not three. If people continue to buy just what they offer and say we can have, then they will never listen to us. If we don't buy what they offer just because that is all they have, they just might say something like "hey, what could we do to make people buy our bikes again." I refuse to buy just because they say something is new and improved, and I will never settle for something I don't want. It is MY money, not theirs. If they want it they will listen, or I can find someone who will. |

| Re: Latest i don't need luck! my bike is paid for and I still love it. As I said though, no one will ever get my money just so I can say I have the latest thing. By the way you will never catch me on a su-pukey. I would buy the hyosung first. the great thing is one day someone will want to figure out how to get people like me to buy, especially with the us economy in the shape it is in. Makers and dealers will be fighting over peoples expendable income and doing what it takes to get it. I worked in the personal watercraft industry when I was younger. You should see what manufacturers will do when sales drop dramatically like they will in the next couple years.
By the way thanks for your kindness to a fellow blade owner. I would never try to send someone to another manufacturer. I see you feel no kind of fellowship on this site.
You are fun to argue with though. |

| Re: Latest no it's not idle! as I said, NO one, not honda, not chevy, not ranger bass boats, not burger king gets my money just because they out something out there for people to buy. Honda will not get my money until they come up with something I like enough to plop that kinda cash down. If it was a bluff, I would be at the Honda shop buying the black and yellow one that has been there for months now because NO ONE WANTS IT |
