Hello everyone,
Just picked up a 2001 Cbr 929rr for a great price but it needs some work. Was a stunt bike that will be turned into a street fighter. Looking forward to sharing my bike progress with you guys as well as any information. I will be seeking a lot of advice to getting the bike bike on the back on the road where it belongs.

Welcome. Upstate NY here, also with a 2000 929RR. I take it the 929rr is not your first bike.

Fixing up a 929 ex-stunter, eh? Hope it works out. From what I have read (no personal experience) you should be keeping an eye on the steering head and the steering head bearings.

Thanks guys. Since most of the body is already gone and the tail needs work the street fighter theme will be easy to achieve and you dont see many of them. I'll try and get some pics up soon
