 | new guy from nj pickin up my 929 next week!! hi guys, picking up a 2001 929 with micron exh from a local dealer and scored a deal. this is my second street bike first was a 99zx7r when i was 18 had dirtbikes and quads from age 8 and im now pushin 30 so i will behave myself and keep squidly behavior to the minimum. all i want to add to this bike is a steering dampener and a double bubble screen. its kinda funny when i was younger i wanted the 900rr in the worst way and im glad to be finally gettin my hands on one now that im mature enough to hand such a capable machine. mostly black with yellow up the side and tank. i got the bike for 4700 otd with 10k on the odometer and the bike is mint would you say i got a deal? my original decision was to go supermoto but cant have it as bike 1 cause at 5'5" tall its tough for me to bring the girlfriend once in a while ive been using my little brothers drz400sm this season cause he still is on his permit  so with me getting the blade he can ride with instead of me supervising in a big parking lot for 1-2hrs a day when we have time | |

Ya i got a CBR 929 RR about 3 days ago and that bike has alot of balls im about 5'9" and i weigh 216 and that bike has enough to go vertical at a tad bit more then half throttle with me on it... I dont think that my bike has any mods other than an exhaust eather.. so be careful and have fun |

| Re: new guy from nj pickin up my 929 next week!! Congrats! Sounds like a good deal! Good decision on getting a steering damper, they need it! I have a HyperPro on mine and like it. Other good options are Ohlins or Scotts. |
