First Post-CBR 954RR

Just bought a 2002 CBR 954RR and loving it so far. First bike I have ever owned, although I have been riding for several years. I'm not too familiar with how to mod a bike though. It already has a D&D exhaust, custom undertail, a tinted windscreen, and frame sliders. What are some fairly easy mods? Not worried about making too much faster as it already has tons of power but what looks good or makes it run better? I want to make sure that I take care of my bike because I plan on owning it for a long time. Im open for advice...let me know what you think. Pics coming soon.

Re: First Post-CBR 954RR

Hi Sean, I reckon you've picked a pretty good all round bike to start with. I've had a number of bikes over the years but after buying a 954 in 2002 realised it ticked most of the right boxes for me - even as standard - and decided, via our company, to try to create the very best all-round bike we could (i.e. both a good long-distance tourer and also on-the-money track bike). Five years later our bike has 40 or so mods (some cheap, some more costly) to make it both practical and also perform better too. We were really pleased that, after testing it recently, Al Fagan of Fast Bikes UK magazine said it was arguably the best FireBlade he'd ever ridden. If you want to get any ideas from our bike please take a look at it here - and you can download the Fast Bikes magazine article in pdf too. Cheers, Giles.
