Hello From So Ca.

I am taking the rider course next weekend and hopefully will be wrapping up the license thing by the end of June. I have had my heart set on the 919 after seeing it my local dealer...however after doing some more research and sitting on a 2008 Interceptor I am not sure...the bike is mostly going to be a commuter, occasional canyon runner and eventually a replacement for my car...any opinions for a newb rider and his first bike? I am in my late 30's and a big guy, over 6 foot and 250 lbs (all those double doubles what can I say? ) The 919 is borderline too powerful for a first timer and I wasn't sure about the Interceptor...I like the fact they both have the upright seating position and are very comfortable to ride...any thoughts?..Opinions are appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Michael

Re: Hello From So Ca.

Just got my 919 today!!...they are really scarce in So Cal right now...finally found a 2k8 Interceptor to compare and contrast to the 919...I love the upright seating position of the 919 and the simpler looks of her...I can't wait to get her on the open road.
