fireblade tail section new to all this

hi there all,

well having just past my test i'm new to all this road bike stuff, so i went out and bought myself a 95 fireblade, i love the bike and it scares the s*** out of me. however were starting to build that special relationship, all i want to know does anyone know if you can change the tail section for a newer model, its the only thing that looks dated i want to keep the rear seat, i don't want to go out and buy all the bits to find out there no good, i am a mechanic and don't mind adapting bits, i did see somone on here that put a gixer 2004 tail section on please help

thanks ellis

Anything is possible, but you will have to ask someone if its a straight fit - If not, you could see if the seat frame has the same mounting points (on the 954 its above where the swing-arm mounts on)

Pictures welcome - Dont forget to add them to your gallery!

Without trying there will be no sucess - there is only one way to find out.

My rear end is lovely, it's just the right size (talking about the bike that is)
