Hi from New Mexico

Hey All,

I was a member of this forum many years ago, but forgot my username and password. But now I'm back. At the time I had bought a new yellow '00 929. Since then I've gone through a Duc, another Honda, a Kawasaki, and a Yamaha. Then I went three years bike-less after a neck surgery which left me unable to ride without pain. But I've pretty well recovered now and I bought a new red 1000RR yesterday.

Anyway, I just wanted to say HI before diving into the forums.

Tom

I have neck problems. I recommend Heli bars. It raises them up 1 3/4" and back 1".

I put Heli's on my 929 many years ago. As I recall, they did help a bit. I totally forgot that they even existed. Thanks for the advice.

Hey, I am in RR also. I am going to go get the MSF class out of the way, buy some gear and saddle up in the next week or two. Have any recommendations on dealers? Trying to get some research done before the fact.

No one around here is really willing to deal. I went to West Honda since it was close to my house. I managed to get them to knock a couple hundred off, but that was it.
