Shell Rotella -T Synthetic 5w-40

Hello to all, I am a newbe. I hope I am posting this at the proper place.

I have used Shell Rotella -T Synthetic 5w-40 in my GL1500 for some time and have been please with it. I just learned that shell reformulated and repackaged this oil about May of 2008. Does any one know what Shell changed and is it still safe for a wet clutch? Shell now boast that they have had considerable less engine wear with the new formula. This concerns me that they may have added something that will make a wet clutch slip.It still doesn't have the energy saving symbol on the container.

I've used the old and the new and can't tell any difference. My clutch has seemed just fine, even through the two track days I did last week.

I sent a sample of it in to Blackstone Oil Labs for analysis after 4000 miles of use and it came back in great shape. If you do a search for Rotella analysis you can find my thread on it.
