Newbie saying hi!

Hey guys and gals.

Just a quick post to say g'day. I live in Queensland Australia in Mackay, just south of the Whitsunday Islands, a part of the country that a couple of you may be familiar with. Currently riding a Yammie FZ1 but looking to upgrade shortly to an '08 fireblade as wife no longer enjoys 2 up riding ( the reason I got the FZ1) and I want a 'blade.
Thought I better join up and read up all about it all of the to do mods so here I am. Hope to be a regular and get to know a few of you.

Any other Aussies on here?

Cheers,

Aussie.

Re: Newbie saying hi!

Thanks for the welcome fellas!

Haven't riden one yet but have sat on and drooled over one at the local dealership! I'm already sold on it, don't worry about that. Just need to decide on a color. Red/black is nice but pretty common, liked the silver/black, didn't fancy the yellow/black too much. They're the only colors available here in Oz. Initially liked silver but now leaning toward red. Its growing on me.

Went in to enquire and get a trade in figure last Friday and have decided to sell the FZ1 privately instead. The dealer basically told me he didn't want my one owner '03, so I am currently in the process of getting her ready for sale, stripping off all of the expensive mods like rearsets and Penske shock to sell seperately.
