| Re: Hi OMGoodness all that sounds lots of fun but we wont have a car until LV, we have done Route 66 in a car and intend doing that again, I would love to do it on a bike suppose a Harley would be the best option as a sports bike would have little use on the miles and miles of straight roads (UK has so many twisty roads for sports bikes), while I'm in the US I shop, clothes, a bike wouldn't be able to carry luggage, also visit as many bike shops that I can find, got my pazzo levers last year from US.
I'm the one who rides my other half only pillions on rare ocassions. |

| Re: Hi Jane sounds like a great plan for a vacation. Let me know when you and your husband are in town, my family and I love to show you guys around and if you have time have you guys join us for dinner at our place which is about one hour outside of NYC, in the Hudson Valley. Let me know what kind of bike shops you are interested in and I will let you know where they are at. My family and I recently visited my wife's best friend in Great Britain, she resides in Newbury, outside of London. We had sooooo much fun. We visited Bath, Salisbury, Stonehenge, etc. It was fantastic. Newbury had an amazing motorcycle store, I believe they had over 100 models. Let me know when you guys get into NYC. |

| Re: Hi Had a good ride out Saturday managed to avoid an articulated lorry overtaking on a bend coming my way, these things are sent to try us!
Fitted venture shield (plastics protector) to the blade Sunday 3 curved pieces just will not go on, main one as well lighting section
I was told that Fireblades do use oil so checked yesterday while on paddock stands and yes it is correct the bike had used some oil since 600 mile service to 2500 miles, the level had dropped on dip stick the gixa never needs topping up. |

I have the little porthole to see the level. but, i can never tell what level the oil is at with the window. any advice? what should i be looking for ?

Yep, New York for the shopping (hope the £ gets better against the $) and sights and Las Vegas for more of the same plus a stomp around the bike shops is always a must, plus a look see at the Las Vegas track to see if anythings happening. lorve the states.
Just missed a woman's only track day at Las Vegas track 2 years ago found it just 2 hours before it finished and too late to book a tootle on the demo bikes |
