| Re: Hi Had to take the Blade to Pidcocks - Long Eaton last Saturday in the rain!!! had the clutch replaced, came home had a cuppa let the engine cool then washed the bike in the drizzle then finished it off in the garage, dirty bike- no way!
Hunstanton has been moved to 2 weeks time the run was abandonded due to weather so week on Sunday planned (again weather permitting).
No good planning any evening runs this week its due to rain every night, tempted to go for a tootle tonight but its code and windy, no fun. Had a run to 6 hills last Tuesday, nice roads went Swarkstone/Donnington/Loughborough towards A6 - 6 Hills.
Will let you know next time out if you fancy a run. |

You commented on the 'Blade not being as smooth as the Gixxer - do you mean when riding her? A lot of riders have stated that after they have added a Power Commander (And had it custom tuned to suit their bike - esp now that you have added a different exhaust) that it now runs a lot better (smoother power delivery)
So which bike is yours and which is your husbands? I see the Gixxer has a seat hump

| Re: Hi Errrrm both mine my husband doesn't have a bike licience.
Had a power commander fitted on the gixer, plonker set it in safe mode, proving it isn't it? had it took off and dyno'd then put back to standard as that was a load of pants as well, my dealer who services the bike said the bikes running crap so to end the fiasco let them put her running back as she was, sweet and back as standard.
I use the power in the lower gears and thats good enough for me. |
