| HELLO FROM NEW MEMBER FROM LONG ISLAND (also a question) Hello all. I live on long Island and have a cottage near Windham NY. The 1999 CBR 900RR lives on Long Island and the 2005 Repsol CBR 1000RR lives upstate. Just bought the 900. Nice shape. Painted yellow. The fellow who owned it did a pretty horrible paint job, so, luckily, I am doing a project for a fellow who owns a body shop, and he is going to get the paint mint for me. Nice bike. I love the design of this model. Handles great.
I want to lower it a bit. I prefer the ride height of my Repsol, and want to drop the 900... just a wee bit. Is the ride height adjustable... or is it lowered with new suspension parts? Thanks. James |

| Re: HELLO FROM NEW MEMBER FROM LONG ISLAND (also a question) I may have answered my own question. I did a search of "Lowering Link" and it seem that if you do this, it messes up the handling of the bike. Is this true? |

| Re: HELLO FROM NEW MEMBER FROM LONG ISLAND (also a question) Makes sense. My business partner has been riding it.. and he is 5-7. I am 5-11 and it is fine for me. So, it will keep it stock. |
