| New rider with bike problem I just bought my first bike. When I got it the guy who sold it to me started it , but only with jumper cables. He said the batt was completly dead. So I took it home. The next day I got a batt, my pops was connecting it and he connected it backwards. I took it off bad conexted it the right way. So now there's now power to the bike. No lights nothing. Did he blow something by connecting it that way? |

| Re: New rider with bike problem First of all to the site..
If you're completely new to riding and don't know what you're doing with your bike I would recommend you by the workshop manual for it.. |

| Re: New rider with bike problem Not sure the type of bike but most have a fuse block and a main fuse off the battery. I bet you popped the main one. look right around the battery for it. If you post make/year/model you might get someone that can give more exact directions
