| Re: 2004 Twin Turbo ZX10 It might work but not very efficiently with the exhaust dumping into a common tube like that. It will have more lag then it should too. The builder is a hack by the way. Those welds are horrible. That said I'd still like to see what kind of power it makes. |

They're not pretty, but it's still in fab, you don't know what he'll do for clean up.
Log headers are not necessarily inefficient on turbo apps. In fact in the turbo world they're pretty common due to packaging issues just like he has. This 159 CI offy makes 1100 HP (at least that's what the claim was) with a log header...

| Re: 2004 Twin Turbo ZX10 Twin turbos? Only for technical bragging rights, since that little motor would already get lag from a single, and can't push two turbos efficiently until the top end of the RPM range. They might as well have gone for three or four for maximum "booyashaka". |

Considering they were previously car turbos, hence ment for a much larger air flow than the ZX could EVER flow, he might not be able to spool both of them up well enough - ever.
Had he done a twin turbo and the first being a VERY small turbo that would spool just off idle (~4000) and the second that would pick up ~7000 he would have a very potent and driveable machine.
