| My new black 2006 ZX-10R... is being prepped right now...
I pick it up in a couple of hours
I think I am going to go with the Akra Carbon bolt-ons.... saves me 1k over the evo system. Plus no PC-III required. I can use the $ for other items.
Pictures to follow... |

Just helping you get started on the mod justification.
Congrats. |

I'm not sure it will be absolutely necessary. Who REALLY needs 170 hp?
Don't answer! |

| Re: My new black 2006 ZX-10R... OK, got it home a couple of hours ago... then we went out to eat sushi. mmmm rainbow roll...
So I have about 15 miles on the bike... First impression: whoa... this thing can move. Very compact. Smallest bike I can remeber being on. High pegs, low bars. Not a bike I would want to go cross the state on. Lots of power. I never got above 6k and it was quite nice. Smooth shifting, brakes work well, the tach/speedo are very trick. It does have a sort of 3-D effect. Easy to read. The fuel injection seems to work very well. Umm... that is about as much as I can absorb in 15 miles.
A few quick photos before I had to go to dinner.
