I didn't know you got one.

I'm here because I've always loved that bike. Definetly wouldn't mind getting my hands on one some day

You're in luck. Just finished a turkey with a chicken as an appetizer. Won't be hungry for at least another hour.

Re: Oh my...

This is hilarious. Haven't been here in a week, so hadn't seen the new 10R section.

Guess I'm the one Mojave's referring to. Do I make four?

And I do still have a 954. Set it up for two-up riding with my sons, for now. Not actively for sale, but if anyone wants it, PM me.

Re: Oh my...

OK, now for a quick review:

Others have proven the bike in the 1/4 mile. That's good and bad. I hope they don't laugh at my first few attempts. It should be fun anyway. The thing that impresses me the most, is how comfortable it is to ride on. The fairing works really well, and the engine and trans/hydraulic clutch are incredibly smooth!!

I really wanted an 1100xx when my wife fell in love with the 929RE, and told me to buy it. It's a great bike, but the OEM seat and bar position are not great on a long trip. I think I could ride the new bike all day and all night.

I'm following the break-in instructions, so it hasn't been above 6k rpm yet.

I went for a 100 mile trip yesterday, just for fun. I enjoyed every minute of it. I think it will be a great bike to tour on. It's much bigger and longer than my 929, and I can lay on the tank, and get out of the wind at hwy
