| ZX14 release?? Does anyone know when to expect them? My dealer has no idea, but they think their first one will be black. I'm real anxious to sit on one. There's a lot of info on the net, and it sounds like the ultimate (stock) 1/4 mile bike, and a good tourer as well...just what I always wanted
It may not be the best looking sportbike in the world, but I don't think it's the worst either. I'm more interested on performance and ride anyway, than looks. |

I just recieved my newest SportRider and they have the ZX14 on the cover (pulling a wheelie of course )but I haven't read the article yet.
I think someone else here actually has one on order but has been frustrated with postponed shipment dates. Maybe search "ZX14", I know someone was waiting on one. |

| Re: ZX14 release?? Power Sports Pro in Omaha has a black one right now.
Personally, I don't think it's the most handsome motorcycle, but the RF900-esque fins disappear on the black variant. Looks decent to my eye.
The power has got to be otherworldly. |

| Re: ZX14 release?? OK, so Chain saw one. That means I should see one soon too. I think I want one, but I think I need to sit on one first to see how it feels. |

| Re: ZX14 release?? I revealed in my 'bike advice' thread that I got to pour over the big black 14 at the shop today when I was kicking tires on other machines.
It's a massive sled. Long and low. Instruments are clear and nicely designed (two old school clocks, imagine that!). The bars and pegs are both comfortable, as is the saddle. The engine is about three feet wide and the big gas tank will splay a short rider's legs. The RF-900 type gills on the side fade into the black paint and it's a pretty nice looking machine overall.
The mags have already dethroned the busa with this two wheeled warhead, so I can only imagine it's got hammer of Thor power on tap. My friend up at PSP (the GM) says another dealer has dyno'd theirs and it spat out 175 hp at the wheel with no miles on the clock. |

| Re: ZX14 release?? Nice. A full pull on a bike with zero miles? Did they at least break it in a little on the dyno first? |

| Re: ZX14 release?? Well, they finally got one in. I fell in love and bought it. It's black. Now I need to sell the 929. The ZX is amazing. The engine and transmission are smooth as silk, and I love the seat. The fairing is awesome too. |
