 | Looked at a 05 ZX10R today! My buddy just recently got a blue/yellow 06 1000RR. So now that I have the oldest bike in our immediate group I was thinking about gettting a new(er) one. So before my buddy committed to his 1000RR he told me the local Kawi dealer had a 05 for sale cheap but couldn't remember what the price was. I stopped up today and it's a 2005 ZX10R green/black 0 miles for $8999 This price seems pretty good and really has me thinking. On another note they also had a ZX14 (blue) and it is huge. I mean long,wide etc. I think it would be fun to drag but I wouldn't like it in twisties. | |

| Re: Looked at a 05 ZX10R today! $8500 for a leftover 10R is the best deal going. You can find them if you search a little. There is a dealer near Long Island that was selling them for $8500 shipped. Might want to do some more research!  |

| Re: Looked at a 05 ZX10R today! I can tell you that going from a 954 to an 05 ZX10 is a pretty decent upgrade  , I just got an 04 myself and it kicks ass

| Re: Looked at a 05 ZX10R today! I really don't wanna get rid of my 954 but on the other hand I do.  My first bike was a 02 ZX6R and I loved it, never no problems and it was flashy. I think I miss that the most. No one else had one(around here) and the green was just so bright it made you look at it! Now with the 954 (again no one has one around town) but I just feel like its dull. So while the miles are still low (6,600) should I try to sell the 954??? I do not want to spend any more money on the 954 because I know I will not get the money back out of it. (i.e. chrome rims,etc) I would greatly appreicate any insight/help!! Of course I would also need help explaining this to the fiancee!!  |

| Re: Looked at a 05 ZX10R today! Rode the other day with a bunch of guys. Two of them were on ZX10's so I started talking to them and the one guy bought the one I was looking at. Made me want it more!!! He said he got it for $8800 OTD.  I then left and went home!!! |
