Re: 954 OXYGEN SENSOR FIX?

Hi, I know that this is a Honda forum, but after reading all this information I decided to register my self and ask some of you specialists what should I do.
I have a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic 2008, and recently I have bought some Vance & Hines Slashcut Staggereds Exhausts (not prepared for O2 sensors).
My bike has O2 sensors on each exhaust.
I would like to know the best way to run my bike without having to spend more money on fuel processor and air intake kit.
If I do have to spend money on this products, what would be the best way to do it? Drill the exhausts and connect the sensors or just connect a resistor ?
If I connect a resistor do I have to cut any wires ?
Please please advice, im so disapointed with all this O2 problems
Thank you so much.

Re: 954 OXYGEN SENSOR FIX?

Check with V&H and make sure you don't need to do any fuel management changes for those pipes. If you do, the system will likely take into account O2 sensor removal. Your bike may run like crap if you decide not to spend the extra cash for fuel upgrades, it may not, check with V&H though.

I could tell what I would do, but ask the expert on the matter, at least from what I've seen on here, he know his stuff. His user name is Dynojettech. You may even be able to go to Dynojet.com for some answers, they produce the most commonly used fuel management units..Powercommander.

Re: Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Oxygen sensor fix

Heya, I have drilled my exhausts and connected the o2 sensors. the bike is ok, but i think i need some kind of fuel management and new air intake.
Do you know if I can use Fuel Pak, Air Intake and Exhausts with the O2 sensors still connected ?
I didnt find that dude you told me - Dynojettech : (
Thanks.

Go to search, click show posts, then type in "powercommander", you can find him that way, he works for Dynojet and has helped many on this site. Good luck man.
