Re: HELL YEAH!!!!

This is a good first step in your biking life. The longest journeys start with the first step.

Be careful along the way and carefully choose your riding buddies - if your gut says someone you're riding may get you in trouble or hurt, you should probably listen to your inner voice and find someone new to ride with.

Get proper gear and ALWAYS wear it, no matter how hot it is, or how short the ride.

Alright a nija 250 I have a rebel 250 (cruiser as I'm sure you know) but it has been a great bike for me. Have you take any safety course yet?

Re: HELL YEAH!!!!

Excellent choice! Thanks for listening to us "old folks", we've been riding for over 30 years for a reason!

As mentioned, wear all your gear all the time. Get a jacket and pants with armour in the elbows, shoulder, back and knees. Hip pads sure don't hurt, either.

Pick your riding buddies carefully and take training! Always ride your own ride, don't try and keep up with more experienced riders.

Re: HELL YEAH!!!!

Sweet, so you decided on the the ninja 250r. Post up how you like it, as I have debating on buying one for my wife. Well I said it was for her but we all know who really wants it . Good luck with your new ride and one more time just for good measures wear ATGATT (All The Gear All The Time).

I like the custom color scheme on this 250r.

Good man, with thinking like that you will last long among us and even get to be old fogeys like us. Nice to see a clear head from time to time, ride safe and ride long. have to say all the above advice is imperative.

Re: HELL YEAH!!!!

take your time, get comfortable with the controls and start out in a empty parking lot so you can practice.........AND FOR HEAVEN SAKES, IF YOU GET INTO A PICKLE, DON'T PANIC BECAUSE THE FIRST THING YOU DO IS TRY TO BRACE YOURSELF BY LOCKING YOUR ARMS OUT AND SQUEZING THE GRIPS ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT YOU JUST GAVE IT MOVE THROTTLE....
