I have been riding 250cc road bikes since aged 17 (now 28), and bought my lovely 900cc Fireblade last year. I ride it to work daily, even when most other riders have put their bike away for the winter. The temperature range here is -3 to 40 degrees Celcius, so you have to be committed.
I also go for weekend rides through the Victorian Alps. Beautiful location, great twisting roads and the best road surface around.
