Hey guys,selling the 2001 929 for something a little newer,i bought it a few months ago,the guy i bought it from said he dropped it on its left side.

This bike was originally an Erion Edition bike,when i bought it the 2 side fairings were just plain black,and i thought the Erion was a regular stock color,this is my first honda.. little did i realise it was a special edition..oops..still has the erion tank,all you need to do is buy the sticker kit for it and you're good to go!

only damages are
the left side is the lip of the rim is kind of rough but rides fine and swing arm
left and right side of the upper cowl,and i dropped it going about 35mph about a month ago,
the right side scratches arent very noticeable inless you're really up close
theres a scratch on the frame but no dents or dings,you can see it in the pic below.

its not as bad as it sounds,heres the pics

Only things that bother me about the bike is it has a REALLY tiny only leak under the stator cover,its not scratched or broken i think it just needs some gasket sealer,and the inside of the gas tank is rusted,but since dropping it hasn't given me any trouble at all.
bike it 13,000 miles today and a dealership offered me 4 for it today but i don't have credit to finance anything..if so i would of gotten the new CBR 600..

If the dealer offered you 4k for it save a $1000.00 or so and that would bring you up to 5k and almost any bank will lend you money with more than 50% down.Look at from the buyers point of view.it needs a new tank because rust doesnt play well with fuel filters or even worse fuel injectors.Also means it wasn't stored inside or was in a flood or wasn't winterized.which usually means it wasn't properly cared for.Its been down at least twice .So thats a few hundred or more extra they would have to spend and then fix an oil leak and still have to fix the scratched fairings and scrapes to the frame,swing arm and a new rim.You said the rim rides fine but personally I wouldnt ride anything with a rim with any sort of damage.Theres only 2 wheels and if one goes at say 100 plus mph your day will not end well.I am not trying to slam you or anything like that just want you to see it from the buyers point of view.Those POS stunt bikes you speak of at least they have some work done to them say pc3,full or slip on exhaust,frame sliders or cage undertails ,chain guards better sprockets.If the dealer will give you 4 k for it take it that should be about half and you can find some sort of financing for it the rate may not be the best but it will get you out from under that dumped twice, rusty tank scratched up stocker .Please take this as constructive criticism not an insult just trying to help.

Thanks dude,yeah the problem is that it sounds worst then what it really is you'd have to see it in person,or more pics atleast,it rides brand new just minor cosmetic damage like any other bike.

At least your being upfront unlike alot of others.But seriously take the trade in offer,or get better pics.The lack of aftermarket work can be good for some folks but most will be looking for something with an exhaust system and a power commander 3 just so they dont have to buy the stuff as soon as they buy the bike.Good luck with everything and remember ride like your invisible,the soccer mom yelling at her brat kids and chatting on the phone with the nail salon she will not see you.This is a fact proven day and day out.

yeah i know from my 3 year experience riding through the worst traffic in the united states..i've heard south fla is the worst anyway... ; /
