02 954rr fs $4500

Well I'm back again with my other 954 for sale. Sold my other one and now I have an 02 CBR 954rr for sale with with a clean alabama title and 17,300 miles on the clock. Bought it a year and a half ago without fairings or a headlight with 13,000 miles on the clock and I've changed the oil twice already. Guess i'm overly cautious. Saved it from becoming a streetfighter.

Bought all of the fairings and the headlight off of ebay so they're not perfect. Everything on the bike is oem. Bike runs excellent. Upgraded the exhaust to a yoshimura and added a pcIII. Sounds great.

And now for the bad. I rattle canned the tank and front fairing with gloss black auto paint. It looks good, but the tank has 2 runs from gas spillage. It also will need the left fork seal replaced.

I'm selling it because my wife wants to start riding and this is way to much bike for her. Have to sell it to get down payment for her bike so she'll have a surprise when she gets back home from Iraq.

Thought that someone here would be able to bring out the full potential of this bike and let her do what she was meant to do. Looking for $4500 firm so that I can get at least some of the money that I put into her. Please no low ballers. I know what kind of bike I have and i know what it's worth. Rides will only be given to those with money in hand (or should I say in my hand).

I keep getting low ballers PMing me, so this is just to clarify. I am not desperate to sell this, I just want to sell it for the reason stated above. I won't take a huge loss because lowballers keep offering 1-1.5k less than what I'm asking. But one person made a good point that they didn't want to come all of the way here and it didn't run good. Good luck! No matter WHAT you try to sell there's ALWAYS the low ballers!! That's why I usually TRADE any of my power equipment in, yeah you don't get the max $$$ BUT you do get the sales tax break & you don't deal W/A$$ 0's

Hey if you don't NEED to sell it & don't get what you want/what it's worth, then keep it. I did & still go for a ride when I want which is rarely BUT it's only costing me Reg/Insp/Ins.It's paid for & mine.

normally I would keep it, but my wife wants a bike and you know how that goes. Plus she deserves something for going over there away from me and our daughter for 15 months. I owe it to her

Broke down and bought her an 08 r6. Yeah I know it's not a honda, but they gave me too good of a deal. Military discount and I got a discount for being a police officer. But the bike is still for sale. Who know, I might go get me an R1 if they give me that discount again

. Now I have to get myself a down payment. SO BUY MY BIKE!!!!

Even a blind man can see that this says vortex and I even wiped away the oil and dirt from it so you could see it better

Notice the red stuff on the tire and the chain. It's kinda odd how rust, as you call it, could somehow manage to get on the bottom and sides of the tire. And that only happens when I ride it on the country roads out here. Now that you see the pics (proof), will you please stay away from my thread. I have a few people pming trying to buy and/or wanting to see it and I really don't have the time to bicker with you. I'm trying to enjoy my day off as a police officer who is bad at his job.

Dude are you guys still here? Yes I do have it for sale on both forums and all of the free advertisement here has helped me out a lot. As of about an hour ago, the bike has left the garage and an 08 R1 has entered it. I thank both of you for helping me out. Talk about owned, you guys have seriously helped me out. Like I said before, i didn't need to sell it, I just wanted to. I picked up both the R6 and R1 and they are now sitting happily in the garage. I can't thank you two enough. Your 200+ posts apiece has drawn so much attention my way.The old saying holds true, find the person that people don't like, and the people will like you. I couldn't have done it without you two though. So if you two are ever in Alabama, let me know so I can treat you to lunch on me. Cause the junk sold. But don't feel bad, I know you were trying hard to make the bike unsellable, but you did the exact opposite. You made it a hot bike. The only reason the price went lower was for just in case the guy didn't show up. The reason that I said that people should call to hear how it sounds is because the engine was a bored and sleeved 954cc engine. Kinda not stock. Ever think about why I wanted to get rid of it? It was kinda too fast and not geared for the city. I also advised everyone to pm me to find out that I kept the fairings on it for just in case it was damaged (police officer, remember. Tend to not have a lot of friends) It was sold with the mint set of fairings (titanium and black) that I ordered a few months ago from Ronayers.com when I was debating keeping my other one. It was going to be a street fighter when i bought it because the guy was gonna drag it

I may be having another 954 soon. That is the good thing about living near a military post (so many bikes for sale all of the time). Maybe you could tell me of a good place to buy a PCIII for the yamahas

Thanks for the congrats KJ's RR. If you ever get around to alabama look me up, I know of a lot of twisties that are within an hour of my house. Stay safe out there with people like Chase'sdad riding around Pa.
