1983 Interceptor 750 For Sale

Looking to sell a 1983 Honda Interceptor 750. Bike is all original. Condition is fair. I bought it in 2001 in the and have ridden every summer since (put approximately 7,000 miles on it). It was my starter street bike and I have cleaned it up and taken great care of it since I got it.

Again, this bike is in fair condition. It is great for ripping around and looks decent, but you won't be winning any awards in the local vintage motorcycle show...

Asking $1,500. Selling in SE PA (Lehigh Valley).

That sure brings back memories. This was my first big street bike, I bought brand new but it was the Blue one.

Good luck selling it.

Re: 1983 Interceptor 750 For Sale

Hi guys - defintely chain drive. When I lived in NJ the rejected it for inspection one year because I didn't have the chain guard on it... Didn't come with one and they passed like three years in a row and then surprised on the fourth!

It is a great bike. I have a few smaller/older Hondas that are in great shape and the restore is more like a thorough clean-up. The Interceptor would need some body work and a re-paint on the tank and new front fairings to be in real nice restore. Everthing is there and hangs on, but stupid stuff like a melted area on the lower fairing and broken plastic on the upper where it mounts to the frame. It's just not perfect but a solid, fun, historic bike.

I now need to make room for the other projects... Hope somebody buys it that really wants restore this one and not just part it.

Re: 1983 Interceptor 750 For Sale

The weather was perfect today and I took a little run around the local backroads for about 35 miles. For a 25 year old cycle that thing is still a lot of fun. I know I will miss this thing in the future, but I'm ready for a nice new 919...
