01 CBR929RR,ERION Plastic,OHLIN Suspension, ton of performance upgrades!

With great sadness I must list my 2001 Honda CBR 929 RR for sale. Due to a back injury I can no longer ride it. I bought it when it was traded in at a Ford dealer that I worked at in the service department in 2005. It had been knocked over at low speed in a parking lot and the plastic was scratched. I am 52 and am a bit of a junkie when it comes to repairs. When I start to upgrade and repair, it’s hard to stop. The original owner took all the stickers off the bike including the Vehicle ID safety sticker, but I have a clean title. Here is what I have done.
I replaced all the original plastic with new OEM full ERION plastic faring
kit including gas tank ($1700.00). It has a HOTBODIES fender eliminator kit with integrated tail lights that also have been wired so the rear turn signals flash rapid when the brakes are applied and the turn signal is on. Fake carbon fiber license plate frame. There is a black rear tire hugger/chain guard. PUIG racing style(double bubble) windscreen in smoke color. SCOTTS steering damper($410.00). CYCLECATS clip on adjustable handle bars and risers($320.00) with Gel grips. CRG Roll-a-click short levers in grey. SATO rear sets in silver with brake light switch ($475.00) which can be reversed for GP shift pattern. Rear seat replaced with TARGA rear seat cowl in matching ERION paint scheme($200.00). Titanium ACKRAPOVIC slip on muffler with real CARBON FIBER hanger, and spark arrester removed. The rear pegs are removed, but are included with the bike. CORBIN seat in carbon fiber finish. POWER COMMANDER III, USB($275.00). BMC performance air filter, street. FACTORY PRO fuel injector short stacks($113.00). GOODRIDGE Kevlar brake lines in blue, front and rear with high performance brake fluid($215.00). KYLE RACING pre load adjusters. SHARK FIN protector in real carbon fiber. SCOTTS permanent billet performance oil filter. AFRAM 520 15/43 (Front-1, rear stock 43) Sprocket Kit. COX radiators grill guard in silver. GALFER pads, HH in front, and Black in rear, about 3000 miles of use. GALFER WAVE rear rotor. A full PRO BOLT kit from TASTY NUTS has replaced most of the old tired looking bolts! Fake carbon fiber gas cap stick on cover, and fake carbon fiber triple clamp stick on cover. I replaced the rear shock at about 13,000 miles with an awesome fully adjustable OHlIN from KYLE racing (owners manual included) with remote preload adjuster ($1000.00). I also had the front forks rebuilt with OHLIN springs@10,900 miles, and OHLIN oil, to keep the suspension well matched ($200.00). The front light bulbs have been replaced with SYLVANIA SILVER STARS, nice and bright! The gas tank has had TANKSLAPPER clear protector on since new. GILLES shift shaft guide, keeps shaft solid during shifts. PRO-TEK Delrin Black frame sliders. MICHELIN PILOT with about 50% left on rear and 65% on front. I run AMSOIL full synthetic since I bought the bike at 7288 miles, it has just under 16,300 now. The bike under went a full FACTORY PRO DYNO TUNE(@10900miles) and the suspension was adjusted for me @ 185 lbs plus gear and I am 5 foot and 71/2 inch tall($250.00). I have installed a few stickers here and there that are easy to remove if they are not to your taste, but they do make the bike faster!
I will also include a COVERMAX bike cover and BATTERY TENDER with permanent wiring to battery, just lift the trunk and plug her in, and the official 2000-2001 CBR 929 RR SERVICE MANUAL. As far as faults, there is a 1 inch scratch on top of the rear seat cowl that I touched up, that I think happened when swinging my boots over to get on one day? Also there is a gouge/scratch on the right side trailing arm that was on the bike when I bought it that I think happen when the bike was dropped and an ill fitted slip on was pushed into the soft aluminum. One very small blemish in the plastic near the F/L turn signal. The wheels are very good, but a few scuffs from tire changes were touched up (photo shows one spot as an example) and you have to look hard to see it. I will try to show all defects in the photos.

That’s it! The bike looks almost new and runs like a Banshee. The valves are not noisy, but the manual says 16,000 is the time to adjust. My mechanic wanted to wait till he could hear them, why waist money. I have changed the plugs 2 times, first at 8,000, then at about 13,273 with NGK Iridium IX, and the oil was changed every 4000 miles with AMSOIL SYNTHETIC. The first thing I did after buying this bike was take it to Honda and checked for outstanding recalls, none were outstanding. The original owners manual and tool kit are here and like new. All receipts are also included. Some extra parts will be included, for example both original seats, old fork springs, rear brake rotor, old brake pads that still have life, and more(see photo). I am sure I forgot something, but I felt a full explanation was needed to explain and justify my asking price.
