It's been through a ground up restoration.
I give it a 9 out of 10, on appearance. The only thing keeping it from a 10 is a couple of blemishes on the tank, and in the decals on the tail section, as these were purchased used off ebay.
The only thing original on the bike, is the frame, and engine.
You name it, it's been done... New clutch, most of the plastics, suspension's been reworked, with racetech valves, and springs.
Basically everything you would want in a sportbike, has been done, Sans a full ohlins suspension...
The list goes on from there...
It's sprung for a 230-240lb rider.
It has a reconstructed title, and the mileage is unknown.
I have a ton of spare oem parts, including stock seat, PC3, htev eliminator, too much to list...
Reason for selling, I just can't get comfortable in the saddle.
I wanna go back to my roots, and pick up a dual sport ride again.
I'm looking for a later model Dr650, maybe 05-07 model.
They've not changed much, from what I can tell, in the past few years, so It's mainly cosmetic choice, at this point.
I'd like to pick up one of the blue ones, or the black, prefferably one that's not been hacked on in any way.
So, what ya got out there?
