| Cheap 2002 RC FS Would have put this in the FS section... but since the RC isn't your average cliche bike I figured there would be more people in here to appreciate it... I have had it for a year and a half, it was my dream bike, but looking at getting a second house and turning my car towards full time track duty = I need to scrounge some cash. It's on craigslist for $4200.... negotiable. Will do a better deal for members on here. Here is a copy of the ad: 2002 Honda RC51, 1000 cc V twin. Ready to hit the track or street! FAST but I'm ready to start getting my car ready for track duty and can't see having 2 toys. Odometer shows 41k, actual is less due to regearing and speedo being off. Speedometer recalibrators are about $100 and I never got around to getting one. Mods: Powertrain: Flapper and PAIR system removed Geared down 15/41 2 brothers carbon cans / mid pipes shortened 5” and just repacked. Sounds amazing. Power commander, PC3 with USB hookup so you can plug it into a computer Body: Nicky mod on sprocket cover Trex frame sliders Undertail / fender eliminator EDR clutch cover LED front and rear turn signals Lightweight fiberglass nose and tail section Satin black paint Handling/Braking: Braided stainless steel brake lines front and rear GP suspension front forks and rear shock PP tuning adjustible rearsets GPR adjustible steering stabilizer Pazzo racing adjustible brake / clutch levers BRAND NEW tires, and wheels just powder coated black Maintenance(w/recpts): New stator 11/07 New computer 6/08 New rectifier 10/07 New rear wheel bearings 7/09 $4200 obo Email with questions or to setup a time to look at it. | Re: Cheap 2002 RC FS The thought of parting this out makes me sick.... I can't believe how badly the economy has affected the price of bikes.  Probably just going to end up holding on to it now... havent really had any serious interest in it and it is getting to the point $$ wise that it doesn't make sence to sell if I have to go much lower than this.  |
