2008 Kawasaki 250R - Photos And Specifications

Popular for over ten years in the U.S, the new Ninja 250R with its re-tuned 249cc engine is set to carry on pleasing its owners, beginners and experienced riders alike. In a move sure to please the UK riders, with restricted licences, the bike is available here, its 32.5bhp engine needing no restriction. The supersport styling with the new screen and fairing, comfortable riding position, easy handling and improved throttle response make the 250R a pleasure to ride anywhere.

The new 2-1 exhaust, which meets emissions regulations, and alterations to the camshafts have improved the torque across both the low and mid-range, while a new smoother gearbox improves the bikes power across the rev range. The 2008 model also boasts new 17 inch wheels, with low profile tyres, which improve both handling and stability. Improved braking is achieved with a larger 290mm petal front brake disc and 2 piston calliper, while the rear brake boasts a 220mm disc with a twin piston calliper. Excellent fuel economy as well as a low price ticket are the icing on the cake.

Re: 2008 Kawasaki 250R - Photos And Specifications

The EX250 (GPX250R down here) is a great learner bike in my opinion but I preferred the GPZ250R myself.
Think it was the same engine but was a lot more fun to ride it hard :-)

My girlfriend has a candy plasma blue one. Talk about flickable. It's a lot of fun in the twistys. It makes my 929 feel like a tank.
