new to all of this, just purchased a cbr250rr fireblade and loving it, though im not too sure about the maximum RPM to take each gear to and also what would be the ideal cruising RPM, any indication would be greatly appreciated

| Re: MAXIMUM REVS I ride so the engine is just on the bottom of the power.
I haven't ridden the Baby Blade so I don't know where that is but I'd guess around 8000rpm maybe? When I hear one go past it certainly sounds like it's doing at least 10,000rpm :-)

| Re: MAXIMUM REVS When you are cruising there are points in the rev range where you can twist the throttle and the bike will pull cleanly without bogging down.
On the 929 it's around 4000rpm.
On my '98 GSXR750 it's around 5000rpm.
Roughly around 40% of the tach seems to work in my experience but it's the feel of the engine that's important.
If I knew somebody with a Baby Blade I'd ride it and let you know but I don't - unfortunately :-)
