| a must have for new riders! Hey people, I bought a 2001 cbr 929 last may. I got thr bike bug again after not riding nearly 15 years. I started riding on a 1987 cbr F1 hurricane. I rode the bike 2 years with a few really close calls and went down low speed three times. I survived and traded the bike off. It wasnt untill I bought this new bike and started learning how to actually rider with proper techniques that i wonder....WTF.....how did I manage to survive two years on the huricane without this knowledge ???? anyways...I was reading tons of post and one sugested the book TOTAL CONTOL by LEE PARKS. I ordered the book and I have read it cover to cover soo many times now. It covers soo many things that I never even knew or thought about befor reading the book. it has helped me so much in my riding. it even coveres fear and vision and such things I wouldnt have thought about. if your new or still felling unsure on your bike this book is great i think! this is where I ordered it from... Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic
thought Id share my opinions about this book, its GREAT I wish I would have had it years ago. |

I could never put mine down, where you running on bad tires or something? I even could put the front back down with no damper and off center with out ever getting tank slap.
Good cheap bike to learn on, it says 1000 but it feels like a 500/600. After you mess up the fairings they still look good as a street fighter. |
