thanx-josh | Just curious, but how do you know it's bored to 1010cc?
77mm (+2mm) pistons would be 1005cc.
How much mileage has the engine done since it was bored that far?
Get rid of the K&N and I would definately be running a PC3 on a bored engine.

As long as you didn't pay any extra for the engine work I don't suppose it matters though. If it's been stroked rather than bored then you have a nice engine indeed :-)
I would want to know why it needed rebuilding at such low mileage though.
I'd stick with the OEM Honda filter.
BMC are also good though.

| Re: new to the 954 i think im going to get a bmc. i wish i could get someone to ride it and tell me if there is a difference from a "stock" one to mine. he said it was "balanced" which the only reason that i bleave the engine has been gone through is the fact that you could eat off the thing. it is spotless. when i get back from this next deployment i plan on dropping some cash in it and make it a hellofa nice bike
on a random side note....how do you pm people here?? j/w |
