| Cell Phone/Wireless Web/PDA Access Would you use this feature if I added it to the site? You'd be able to read, post, read/send PMs, etc all from your Cell Phone/PDA/Mobile Device. Vote in the Poll. UPDATE: Wireless Support Added: FireBlades.org goes Wireless! |

| Re: Cell Phone/Wireless Web/PDA Access Oh yeah, if I owned a device that had that capability I am sure I would at least play with it, maybe even grow to love it. But I don't, so it's a moot point in my case... Ergo, I didn't vote. |

| Re: Cell Phone/Wireless Web/PDA Access Yes, WAP access.
It wouldn't be used when you were near a computer, but if you are traveling, and need to check a PM, or look up some information or something. That was the idea behind it.
Oh, and you will still get colors/graphics, be able to see avatars, etc. (If you have a color/graphic capable device.) |

| Re: Cell Phone/Wireless Web/PDA Access Thanks Conq. I see alot of sites with that functionality. Never used it though. Guess I should look into setting it up and trying it out. It's been easier for me to just connect to my PDA and dial-in that way. Gonna go vote now. |

| Re: Cell Phone/Wireless Web/PDA Access Maybe I'm reading this poll wrong, I surf this site all the time with my sidekick, you just can't see the animated icons or play in the arcade but several of my limited posts have come from my phone. |

| Re: Cell Phone/Wireless Web/PDA Access This will make it accessible via WAP. Some wireless devices have browsers that will work with the site as-is. Most don't though. |

| Re: Cell Phone/Wireless Web/PDA Access Wait until UMTS is the precedent for the wireless carriers. The data rates will vastly improve, screwing the Wifi companies I think when UMTS is a few years old in the market, the prices will drop, and the wireless carriers will be offering unlimited type plans trying to go after Comcast and DSL carriers. |
