Oh yeah, if I owned a device that had that capability I am sure I would at least play with it, maybe even grow to love it. But I don't, so it's a moot point in my case... Ergo, I didn't vote.

Yes, WAP access.

It wouldn't be used when you were near a computer, but if you are traveling, and need to check a PM, or look up some information or something. That was the idea behind it.

Oh, and you will still get colors/graphics, be able to see avatars, etc. (If you have a color/graphic capable device.)

Thanks Conq. I see alot of sites with that functionality. Never used it though. Guess I should look into setting it up and trying it out. It's been easier for me to just connect to my PDA and dial-in that way. Gonna go vote now.

This will make it accessible via WAP. Some wireless devices have browsers that will work with the site as-is. Most don't though.

I can get free WAP access on my phone with VZW (which they charge $5 a month for) through a public proxy...just uses air time...and evenings are free. =)

Wait until UMTS is the precedent for the wireless carriers. The data rates will vastly improve, screwing the Wifi companies I think when UMTS is a few years old in the market, the prices will drop, and the wireless carriers will be offering unlimited type plans trying to go after Comcast and DSL carriers.
