Before some #$%@#$%^ stole it I used to ride Dad's 80 lowrider often. It was fun to ride but not a CBR1000RR Still if I had unlimited garage and $$$ there would be a Harley Lowrider, BMW boxer and a KTM or Honda dirt bike in my garage.

Now I'm good to go. Got the Honda 1000rr today , rode it 150 miles and i'm very happy with the bike. It' seems to be the most comfortable sports bike I've owned. Bought the gray and black.

And it will grow on you also. I got close to 6k on mine and it is still a rush. Congrats hopefully you get many miles of fun (I like the gray it was very close between it and red but I went red)

Wanted the all black as my first choice, but they didn't have one. So went with my second choice. I like the red but feel it draws to much attention from the law. I remember reading that the red sports car usually gets the ticket quicker than other colors. So be careful.

Thanks Speed, its a great bike, just like you said. Hows the racing goin?

My kid got tranfered to Phoenix. So i plan on visiting him for two months ( Jan. & Feb) might take the bike and ride over to Cal. You can show me around L.A.
