Garage. Complete with interior motion sensor and remote in home signal notification, and a 2 way intercom that I keep on monitor mode at all times. Gotta love modern technology. Too much money in cars, bikes, tools to take chances. If that does'nt work I have a 40.caliber Taurus Millenium Pro that should help matters.

Re: Where do you store your bike(s)?

In my garage, with the door open into the house so the 2-St. Bernards each weighing in at about 140+ and no less and 1- mean ****ing German Shepherd that can and will eat your ass. Once he starts and the 2 saints figure out you are not wanted,...just think about the movie Snatch."Bricktop" They have done it to too many peoples pets that have been brought to the house. One time this poor little girls rabbits that were in cages and we came home to her crying and the house was a hairy/bloody mess. Oh they greeted us nicely though, rabbit foot hanging out of the mouth of one of the saints. LMAO!!!

I guess they aren't that lucky after all, pitty.

Oh and if someone makes it past them, I can always depend on my trusty .50 Desert Eagle. That is not from the movie Snatch.

I keep my bikes in a secure garage on a military base, the 8 foot razor wire fence and patrols armed with 'land sharks' and automatic firearms seems to keep unwanted attention at bay!

Re: Where do you store your bike(s)?

I've got a shop in the back yard. The bike lives in a temperature controlled environment year round.

I guess if the bike had to it could sleep outside, but that would be like asking my wife to sleep on the porch. (Hmmmm - that might not be such a bad idea - at times that is.)

Why would you people care if the bike gets stolen? Have INSURANCE in it and hell go and pick out a new one. I leave mine outside some times. Hell if you want to steel it go a head. I have INSURANCE!!! I will just go get a brand new one.

Just make shure that it enough coverage.
Unless you have no insurance on it then i could understand. But then you should not be riding anyway.

In the garage. A few years and bikes ago, the Mrs. and I rented a townhoouse in JAX, FL w/out a garage. So I rolled it into the foyer each night, and if we went on vacation, it slept in the living room while we were gone, or on the deck out back.

I'm currently living in the middle of now where in the bush. We have a next to zero crime rate but it feels so much more comforting to have my bike parked in my front room behind locked doors and in air conditioned comfort rather then out the front in the carport !

Re: Where do you store your bike(s)?

I used to keep mine in the basement garage of Building 10 on the National Institute of Health's Bethesda campus. It was beneath the largest brick building on earth, so it stayed sufficiently warm that I could start it up intermittently during the coler months, and could even take short rides around Bethesda in January and February. I even got a couple tickets for doingit and didn't mind, together they amounted to a really cheap winter storage rate.

Replaced the 40.caliber with a 45.caliber Millenium Pro. Also got a nice Springfield XD 45 that usually stays closer by my side. I like the 13 round mags filled with 230 gr. hollowpoints.
