Eh,
Oh, NOW there are voting options......but I don't see one with off-road options.
Therefore, my vote is: 0% street, remainder off-road or track.

Re: How do you spend your riding time?

Since I don't have a streetbke right now it's 100% track, but I'll be back on the street after I get a new one

Track riding is safer most often, but the street can be exhilarating as well.

Re: How do you spend your riding time?

This year as been real good for me as far as track day, so I'm up to 80/20. Even thinking of either selling the Repsol or make it a track day only bike.....

Probably 50/50 this year, b/c I've really only used my bike on the street to commute, and I have a very short commute.

Re: How do you spend your riding time?

100% street. Haven't tried the track yet, but it's really a hobby I can't afford right now.

In a few years I might just buy a beater racebike and a nice dirtbike and give up street altogether. Who knows.

Now I'm probably about 70% street, hopefully by this time next year it will be 70% track.

Re: How do you spend your riding time?

Mileage... I'd have to go with 70% street. This year has been 50/50.

If I don't get my street miles in... In the Smokies I shall go insane.

For those that have done it... you know. A long solitary ride in God's cathedral is necessary. My sanity depends on it. (Kinda like Easy Rider... your look at your watch … then throw that mother in the ditch!!! )

Re: How do you spend your riding time?

Mostly track this year, but a couple of VFR forays down into Kentucky will bring me up to a better mix.

I don't commute at all, and have no desire to ride in the city. Track and twisty country roads, please.

Re: How do you spend your riding time?

So far 100% street but that's going to start changing as of this weekend.

Also no desire to ride city/traffic areas or commuting. Just country roads with lots of twists and unfortunately lots of gravel on occasion.

Would like to get it to a 50/50 mix soon and eventually stop buying tags altogether

Re: How do you spend your riding time?

Well let's see..........the 6RR has about 1000 track miles and 600 street on it this year and the ST1300 has about 10,000 for the year so I'll say 90/10.

Re: How do you spend your riding time?

I initially thought all of you would be die hard track people (I would be if I had the chance), but the stats are suprising me. right now 100% street, but does colorado mountain roads count for at least a little track? didn't think so. I want to get on a track this year and learn how to extract more out of my bike.

80% track-the 20% comes from me riding the bike to my buddies house to load it on a trailer and the occassional ride into work on a good weekend. Race gas is too expensive to burn on the street.

Re: How do you spend your riding time?

I used to roadrace and I tire tested for Nissin Cup Noodle back in '91,'92. That was a long time ago, and about 80lbs. I roadraced 2-stroke 250's, NSR, RS (Honda) what else? Now it's 100% street, I wish I could get back into it, but it really is an expensive hobby over here.
