| Re: Which generation Fireblade do you currently have? 1000RR Repsol
The first superbike for me and I truly enjoy it very much, does 150.7 bhp and an easy 295 km/h - way too fast for me so I only enjoy it in and around twisties (corners & bends) on the road. Will try tracks this year. |

I love my 1000 but it won't go 295 km/hr downhill in a hurricane. |

| Re: Which generation Fireblade do you currently have? True speed will most probably be around 280 - 290, although the meter shows sometimes even 299. I should get a GPS to measure real correct speed. But yes the 1000RR definitely not the fastest liter bike build by the Japs. I have a friend that did so much and so much and did everything possible, the results was a staggering 311 Km/h - a race bike off course. |

| Re: Which generation Fireblade do you currently have? 01 929 here loving every bit of this bike
scotts damper
full ti system
corbin seat
flush mounts and undertail
motovation bar ends
honestly as long as she runs i cant see upgrading, she pulls like a freight train and corners 100times better than my zx7r ever did.
call me a nostalgic goof ball but i kinda like the fact that my blade was designed by the same guy that made the first 900RR i wanted when i was too inexperienced to own one, heck if i found a decent 93 blade in my area id buy it in a heartbeat but my 01 stays... |

| Re: Which generation Fireblade do you currently have? I like my 1000 a lot, but I really, really miss the gentle burble of the 929's idle. If I could detune my idle to be a bit rough like that one, I'd do it. |
