| Re: Which generation Fireblade do you currently have? Amazing how many of the 02;03 954's that we still own and obviously love. I haven't been in here awhile, been busy with the new daughter and life. I own an 02 Blade by the way, few mods..lots of miles and still running strong. |

| Re: Which generation Fireblade do you currently have? had an 05 600rr, found an 03 954 with 1500 less miles on it that was in good shape... really love the torque, although the suspension is a bit touchy.. |

The first superbike for me and I truly enjoy it very much, does 150.7 bhp and an easy 295 km/h - way too fast for me so I only enjoy it in and around twisties (corners & bends) on the road. Will try tracks this year. |

I love my 1000 but it won't go 295 km/hr downhill in a hurricane. |

| Re: Which generation Fireblade do you currently have? True speed will most probably be around 280 - 290, although the meter shows sometimes even 299. I should get a GPS to measure real correct speed. But yes the 1000RR definitely not the fastest liter bike build by the Japs. I have a friend that did so much and so much and did everything possible, the results was a staggering 311 Km/h - a race bike off course. |
